Following the approval of the Hermiston City Council, the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted likewise to adopt Hermiston's new brand with its logo and tagline.

Green Light

With the support from the Hermiston community, the Hermiston City Council voted this week to adopt a new brand for the city.

The Hermiston Branding Committee unveiled the new look and tagline for the Hermiston brand which features a round logo that incorporates both a watermelon and the Hermiston Butte.

Hermiston History; City has changed its ‘brand’ before.

With the support from the Hermiston community, the Hermiston City Council voted this week to adopt a new brand for the city.

Dating back at least to 1960, through 1997, official city documents show either a minimalist "City of Hermiston" letterhead or an image of the McNary Dam as the branding for the city.

The City of Hermiston has moved one step closer to picking a new branding concept for the city, replacing the old slogan, "You Can GROW Here".

Now there are two options for a new tagline; "Where Life is Sweet" or Where Opportunity Shines". It's the community's job to decide which one they like better …
